Scott Handelman is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, and the Golden Gate University Law School in San Francisco. He has been a practicing law in the Bay Area since 1986. He was a Research Lawyer for the Alameda County Superior Court, after which he worked in various law firms in the Bay Area before opening his own law firm in March, 1997. He has represented clients in matters against governmental entities, including claims against the State of California, federal agencies, multi-party and complex litigation, and cases in almost all aspects of civil law and personal injury settlement and litigation. Scott Handelman is a member of the California Bar Association and is admitted to practice law in all California courts and in Federal Court, Northern District of California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal. He is a member of the Alameda County Bar Association and the Contra Costa County Bar Association referral panels.
Mr. Handelman is also an appointed for Alameda County, handling small claims, unlawful detainer, and traffic court citation cases.
Thorsten L. Arteaga, Esq. is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, earning his B.A. degree in 1993.
